Template Adapters or Nose Cones.

These are used to accurately locate studs when using templates. These are available in 3 diameters: 30mm (standard), 1" and 22mm. Nose cones can be cut to fit around complex shapes or manufactured with extended "Chimney" to locate inside high sided narrow components such as deep channels or to totally enclose the weld area for noise reduction.

Screw in Nose Cones.

These allow the welding of studs through templates with different diameter holes. They also allow the replacement of worn nose cones without the need to re-centre the nose cone in relation to the chuck.

Centring Jigs.

This accessory is used to centre the nose-cone with respect to the chuck. Accuracy of +/- 0.25mm is possible with this accessory. Centring jigs are available in 3 diameters, 30mm, 1" and 22mm. They are also available as complete assemblies or as separate parts. Please note, to maintain accuracy the alignment should be checked regularly.

Tripod Legs.

These are used as the standard method of ensuring hand-tools present studs perpendicular to the work piece. They allow visual alignment of the weld stud onto either scribe lines or into shallow indents. Tripod leg assemblies are available as either complete assemblies or as separate parts. Note - deep centre punch marks will affect the weld quality and must NOT be used.

Extension Leg Assemblies.

These allow the welding of studs up to 150mm in length. They are ideal when welding nail pointed studs, when frequent stud length changes are required and when welding M10 studs. Also available with nose cones for use with templates.

Offset Attachment.

This very useful studwelding accessory allows the welding of studs close to an upright surface or into a corner. Studs may be welded as close as 12mm to a bend or obstruction.

Torque Testing Bars.

This very useful device provides a method of testing the integrity of any weld stud without destroying either the stud or the component to which it is welded. 2 sizes are available.
